Overview
CashFlowPanel helps users analyze Zillow and Redfin property listings by scanning listing details, estimating rent, and calculating rental investment metrics. This policy explains what user data we collect, how we collect it, how we use and store it, and the limited circumstances in which we share it.
Information We Collect
Account information: when you create or sign in to a CashFlowPanel account, we collect your email address, Firebase user ID, sign-in state, account tier, account creation time, and related authentication records needed to provide account access.
Supported listing page content: when you ask CashFlowPanel to analyze a supported Zillow or Redfin listing, the extension reads listing content from that page, including listing URL, address, price, beds, baths, square footage, property type, taxes, HOA, insurance estimates, and other visible property facts needed for rental analysis.
Analysis and product usage information: we collect the financing assumptions you enter or save, rent estimates, calculated investment metrics, saved analyses, favorites, monthly analysis usage counts, and timestamps related to analyses and account updates.
If you upgrade to a paid plan, Stripe processes payment details. We do not store full credit card numbers, card security codes, or bank account numbers. We store Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, subscription status, cancellation status, and related billing access identifiers so we can manage your plan.
How We Collect Information
You provide information directly when you create an account, sign in, enter financing assumptions, save an analysis, favorite a listing, or start a paid subscription. CashFlowPanel also collects information automatically when the extension reads the supported Zillow or Redfin listing page you are analyzing, when Firebase records account and database activity, and when our backend receives rent estimate or billing requests.
CashFlowPanel reads only supported Zillow and Redfin listing pages for the purpose of extracting property facts needed for rental analysis. CashFlowPanel does not monitor general web browsing, collect personal communications, record keystrokes, read unrelated websites, or collect data from pages outside the supported listing sites declared in the extension manifest.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to authenticate users, scan supported listings, calculate cash flow and related investment metrics, provide Rentometer rent estimates, save and retrieve analyses, enforce free and paid usage limits, process subscription upgrades, troubleshoot the service, and improve CashFlowPanel.
Listing information is handled only to provide the user-facing analysis features described in the Chrome Web Store listing and product interface. We do not use listing information, account information, or saved analysis data for advertising, behavioral profiling, resale, or purposes unrelated to CashFlowPanel's rental analysis features.
How We Store and Handle Information
Account records, default assumptions, saved analyses, favorites, deal history, usage counts, and Stripe subscription identifiers may be stored in Firebase and protected with access controls tied to your account. Listing details and calculations that are not saved may be processed in the extension and backend functions to provide the requested analysis.
CashFlowPanel transmits personal and sensitive user data over secure HTTPS connections. We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore security rules, and backend access controls to limit access to account-backed data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we use service providers and technical controls designed to protect user information.
We keep account and saved analysis data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of account or saved analysis data using the contact email below.
How We Share Information
We do not sell user data. We do not transfer user data for purposes unrelated to CashFlowPanel's single purpose. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
We share user data only with the following parties as needed to provide, secure, and improve CashFlowPanel:
Google Firebase and Google Cloud: used for Firebase Authentication, Firestore database storage, Firebase hosting, Firebase Cloud Functions, backend request processing, account management, usage-limit enforcement, and operational security.
Rentometer: used to request rent estimates and nearby rent comps. For those requests, we send property details such as address, bedroom count, bathroom count, and building type to our backend function and then to Rentometer.
Stripe: used for subscription checkout, billing portal access, payment processing, subscription management, and billing webhooks. Stripe receives billing information you provide during checkout and may share subscription status with CashFlowPanel.
Legal, safety, and business transfer recipients: we may share information if required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to protect the rights and safety of users or CashFlowPanel, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and user notice or consent where required.
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What We Do Not Do
CashFlowPanel does not sell user data, use user data for personalized advertising, transfer user data to data brokers or advertising platforms, use user data for lending or creditworthiness decisions, collect unrelated browsing history, or allow humans to read user data except with your permission, for security and abuse prevention, for internal operations using aggregated or anonymized data, or when required by law.
Your Choices and Deletion Requests
A CashFlowPanel account is required to use the application. You can edit analysis assumptions manually, remove saved favorites, sign out, stop using CashFlowPanel, or uninstall the extension. To request deletion of account data, saved analyses, favorites, default assumptions, or deal history, contact us using the email address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as CashFlowPanel changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide notice as required by applicable law or Chrome Web Store policy.
